Art & Craft Centre – Rules and Regulations
1. Attendance & Punctuality
Students must attend classes regularly and on time according to their selected batch/schedule.
A minimum of 75% attendance is required to receive a course completion certificate or to progress to the next level.
If you cannot attend your designated batch, you may request to join another batch on a different day/time. This is subject to availability and requires prior notice.
2. Discipline
All students are expected to behave respectfully toward teachers, staff, and peers.
Any form of misconduct, misbehavior, or damage to Centre property or materials belonging to others may result in a warning, suspension, or dismissal, as determined by the management.
3. Dress Code
Wear simple, comfortable clothing suitable for art and craft activities.
It is recommended to wear an apron or old clothes during painting or craft sessions to avoid staining good garments.
4. Materials & Tools
Students must bring their own basic supplies, including:
Pencils, erasers, sharpeners
Blenders, color palettes, and other art tools
If you are missing any required materials, the Centre may provide them at an additional cost, which will be communicated to you separately.
5. Safety Guidelines
Sharp tools, paints (especially for children under age 10), and chemicals must be used only under strict supervision.
The Centre is not responsible for:
Injuries resulting from negligence or failure to follow safety instructions
Loss or misplacement of students' personal materials
6. Use of Artwork
The Centre reserves the right to display or publish student artwork for:
Exhibitions
Publications
Promotional purposes
If you or your parent/guardian do not wish for your work to be used in this way, you must object in writing.
7. Fees & Refund Policy
All fees must be paid in advance at the time of admission.
Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable once paid.
Seats are limited – payment is required at registration to confirm your spot.
Monthly fees will not be charged for leave taken due to:
Medical reasons
Examinations (with valid proof, if requested)
For personal leave (non-medical/non-exam), the monthly fee still applies.
If a student cancels after the first weekend of the monthly session, or is absent for an entire month, the full month's fee will be charged.
If a student wishes to rejoin after a gap of one year or more, re-admission charges will apply.
8. Leave of Absence
Advance notice is required for any planned leave.
If a student is absent for more than 4 days in a month without prior notice, they may lose their seat priority.
Extra or make-up classes will be arranged only at the discretion of the management.
9. Parent/Guardian Responsibility (for students under 18)
Parents or guardians are responsible for dropping off and picking up their children on time.
The Centre is not responsible for students outside of class hours.
10. Certificates
For certificate courses, additional charges may apply as per the requirements of the certifying body.
